Brilliant piece of kit. Upgraded from an old petrol mower and the 40V power is genuinely impressive. The 43cm cutting width makes quick work of my back garden, and not having to mess around with oil and spark plugs is a dream.
I was looking for a good cordless lawn mower with battery and charger included, as most brands make you buy them separately. The Mowix arrived next day, was easy to assemble, and the 50L grass box means I only have to empty it once per mow.
Gives a wonderfully clean cut and the battery life is solid. My only slight gripe is that at 14.5kg it's a bit heavier to push up the steep bank at the back of my garden compared to my flimsy old corded electric lawn mower, but the lack of a cable makes up for it.
No more extension leads! The 6 cutting heights are incredibly easy to adjust with just one lever. We had quite long, damp grass for the first cut of the year and it didn't struggle or stall once.
Having researched extensively between this and a ryobi cordless lawn mower, I opted for the Mowix due to the twin 20V battery system. It provides consistent, fade-free power and the build quality of the polymer deck feels very robust.
Great value for money. It easily matches the performance of my neighbour's expensive ego lawn mower. Takes a little while to charge both batteries from flat, but the dual charger helps. Very happy overall.
